Slumber??? Party

Saturday night, Haley had 6 of her closest friends over for a going away slumber party. But there was NO slumber to it....well maybe 3 hrs. tops. They seemed to have had fun. Here's the group picture we made. We bought Haley a frame to put it in where everyone could sign it.We had music most of the night. Kayla walked around with a guitar singing. Ann Katherine and Bethany played the keyboard and sang. Haley has some very talented friends. They spent the first 2 hours in the street in front of our house taking pictures and waving at passers-by or in the back of Bryan's truck prank calling, and....you guessed it.......singing......ahhhh. They wanted Bryan and I to take them to roll yards....Donna and Jeffs or the band director at DHS. We said NO. Ann Katherine had brought toilet paper just in case. We decided to help them out. We made a plan without Haley's knowledge. While Haley was helping Machaela get settled (she arrived late) the girls..including Jade and her friend Cassie....rolled OUR yard. Bryan snuck the toilet paper out the back door and we stalled Haley and Machaela. The result.......Haley opened the door and said, :OH, HECK,NO!!!! While they were waiting on Haley to come out.....They did this to Ann Katherine and set her by the road. Cars drove by and honked at her....Poor thang......and she's the one who brought the toilet paper.

We allowed Jade to have a friend spend the night so Haley could be alone with her friends. She was....for the most part...Jade and Cassie started spying..... All in all, they left the big kids alone. The older girls invited them to help roll the yard, they line danced together, and ate doughnuts from a string.
This was an easy party for me and Bryan. The girls wanted nothing planned.....just to hang out. So we joined in when asked and disappeared when not. Here's a few more photos of her party.
I think they liked the doughnuts the best.

I think the girls had fun. Haley has been blessed to have such great girls as friends and we will miss them.
